The home run derby kicked off the night's events, as Sawyer Mitchell won the inaugural HR King title. The all star game, featuring the league's most talented hitters, pitchers, and fielders followed and didn't disappoint. The 10 players played in front of an estimated crowd of 30 - breaking the previous ISWB attendance record. By the end of the 9 inning game, there were enough incredible web gems, towering home runs, and unexpected face plants to fill a season-long highlight tape. Needless to say, the game provided plenty of entertainment.
A news team from PBS attended to film and do a story on Indy Southside Wiffle Ball. Click here to see the video. This is the first time ISWB has been published in the news, and we hope it won't be the last.
A firework show wrapped up a very Sandlot-esque night. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported and awesome cause!

Cy Young WInner:
Cody House 5-0 2.00 ERA - Austin Church seemed to be running away with the Cy Young award going into the last weekend until a rough start added to his loss column and boosted his ERA to over 3.5. House came determined to get the award - winning all of his games and allowing only 6 runs in those 3 starts.
Silver Slugger Winner:
Brendan Dudas .595 8 HR 32 RBI - Jordan Tackett looked like he had a vice grip on the Silver Slugger award after his record setting 8 HRs and 17 RBIs in the first day, but Austin Church and Brendan Dudas caught up to his stats by the end of the season, and the race was undoubtedly between the three of them. Dudas received 4 of the 5 first place votes with Tackett getting the 5th. Church received the 2nd place vote in 3 of the 5 ballots.
